Yesterday me and friend install remote door locking to his EJ9 hatch.
but now it's problem in his central door locking, which work fine before we install remote door locking. Basicly central door lock working but when lock/unlock u have to wait for 30-60 sec. than u pres lock/unlock button and work ok. if u press earlier lock/unlock, the passenger side doesn't work, maybe a little jump on button if u press too earlier.

Before we install remote door locking, central door lock works fine. Remote door lock is aftermakret so don't have any connections to orginal honda central door lock.

when we install cables in to door, when we disconnect connector in door we found torn off black cable(probably by us, when try to disconnect connector), we solder that. but there are three cables for door locking the white with red stripe have some cracks on isolation, but the cable is ok.

it works like it has some capacitor, doesnt have enough power to lock/unlock door before past 30-60 sec. to fill up that capacitor.

I was thinking if it's tired actuator or something, but before we install this all works fine. and all other things work fine(power window, mirror)before and after.

i alredy use google, and don't found the same problem. please help.

Kind of the same thing happen with me. Before i did my autoto manual swap, my alarm worked just fine. After the swap, my remote dont work, and i use the lock switch on the door, itll lock/ unlock immediately. I have to keep doing it before it will do what i want. Lol no idea whats wrong with it. Hope you find the issue man
