Default New distributor/timing issue, HELP!

I have a EG with a D15Z1 and my distributor so, I bought one on craigslist off a D16y8 and only two of the bolts line up correctly, but it still goes in. And when I start the car its not igniting all the cylinders. Could this be from the distributor or is my timing just really off? If it is from the distributor I was thinking about taking out the internals of the old distributor and replace it with the new one in the old housing so it can bolt right up, would this work?

Help me out! I need this fixed ASAP.

Out of line bolt

Compared the housings and make sure the bolt holes line up. I personally dont think the y8 distributor bolts up to that head perfectly.

You can see the difference in bolt patterns in the pictures. It wont bolt up all the way perfectly. And is your car wired for an obd2 distributor? is it all still obd1 wiring?
