Default 98 civic crank no start

I went on a two week long vacation and parked my car. When i came back it started and ran just fine, until after i drove it for about 5 miles and then it stalled and died. I was able to restart it a few times and it ran like crap and died. Now car won't start at all. I checked for spark and fuel pressure. I get spark at all of the cylinders and am getting approximately 3bar fuel pressure upon turning the key on. I checked for codes and i only have a cat. efficiency code stored. Also i believe the check engine light was on when i first started it and went off after the car stalled. I removed the spark plugs and all were flooded with gas. I cleaned them up and reinstalled back into the car. At first i thought that i could be getting a weak spark so i replaced the ignition coil and car is still not starting. Also i checked for a crank signal with my scan tool and it shows an rpm speed when i crank the car. I am also going to perform a compression test on it but it sounds like its getting good compression when i crank the car. I did removed the oil filler cap and check that the rockers are moving so the timing belt should be fine. please help.

Find out what the CEL is for. That should lead you in the right direction of your problem.
