So I picked up a 2000 5 speed standard last night. Everything is bone stock on it, even the radio has not been changed in the thing. It has 316,xxx kms on it, or 196,xxx miles.
The interior on it is pretty clean, just needs a little cleaning from it sitting.
Just like most V's the clock does not work lol, but I really don't care since I have a plan for that spot, so no big deal.
The only real thing I need to fix is that the blower motor does not work and I just need to replace a A/C tensioner pulley as it's making noise, so I don't have a belt on it right now.
So needless to sway, I'm selling my 98 V that's auto now, just after I swap over a bunch of stuff.
Here's the ist of stuff I need to swap
-Indash double din
-Front and rear speakers
-Sub and amp
-Amp kit
-Fullmark tailgate
-JDM front fenders
-Hood (98 has a new one, 2000 is rusted)
-Black housing headlights
-LED reverse lights
-LED dome and map lights
-Sticker bombed cluster bezel
-Roof rails and Yakima cargo cage (Maybe)
-OEM side bars
-JDM power folding mirrors
It's a big list and I'm not looking forward to doing it, but it has to get done.
But I did get around to installing some stuff today
Like this
-JDM window visors
-Weighted shift ****
-6000K HIDs
-PWJDM sock
I do have plans for this one, that's why I wanted a standard for, so I will most likely lower it tomorrow, maybe.
Here's a few pictures of it with some new parts

I also have a purple PWJDM battery tie down that's going on tomorrow after I swap the batterys as well, since the 98 has a new one. I also have PWJDM blue fender washers and headlight bolts that will be going on as well, but I'm going to paint the engine bay black first so they stand out more.

I want to, but then I will have to sell my 240sx and that is not happening. Plus I don't have room for parking a 4th vehicle.
But today I got my LED installed in the headlights, map lights, dome light and reverse lights. As well as put on a PWJDM battery tie down, and my 17's on.

So I pretty much have everything swapped over from my old V to my new V. I only need to put the black housing headlights, Side bars and JDM fenders on once they are done drying, as I painted them today to match the body colour so they are not white anymore.
The full sound system is in, fullmark gailgate is on, roof rack and yakima cage is on, swapped hoods, battery.
Now in spring time I will slam it to the ground again like my old one, unless I get suspension now for it cheap.
I still need to fix a few things on it. Like both front wheel bearings, R/F CV shaft, blower motor, horn (going hella maybe) and a leaking break line.

Louder than stock, great sound, cheap, stealthy, and durable. Love em.
I do wish they were a bit louder, but considering a direct replacement - I'm not complaining. These absolutely get the attention, btw. I just want to scare the crap out of people. :D

Definitely considered it, but didn't want to get all the extra crap. Minimal setup was the preferred route.
Maybe I'll do a secondary horn .. so when I lock the car it's the normal one, but when I step on it, it uses the air horn. hmmm new project.
