while trying to crank car on it wont start and makes a bog noise
hey guys i have a 94 4 door integra with a LS vtec in it. i replaced my valves in it because i had a bent valve, my set up so far is, polished ls block with b16 pistons, jdm SiR b16a head port and polished, stage 2 clutch, b17 mani. arp head studs and just 4-1 headers.
well anyways as i was saying, i replaced the valves and put my head back on, did the timing without a timing gun but we seemed to do it pretty well. but while im trying to turn the car on IT WONT TURN ON, and it cranks kinda weird and fast and also makes a little bog noise while its cranking. it'll crank and bog like bop bop bop bop bop for every time it cranks, car doesnt turn over at all!!
anybody have this problem before or might know what might be wrong? IM STUCK! first time i ever seen or heard of this happen before!! HELP! =[

did you have your valve seats checked when you put in the new valve? and how did it bend in the first place? I bent every valve in my head and most of them werent bent enough to tell till I pulled them out.
also did you make sure your firing order is correct?
cranking too fast is usually from no/bad compression.

well i racing a boosted eclipse on the freeway and i was smashing on him than at 7k rpm in 4th gear my car just died and wouldnt start. checked my compression and cylinder 2 was very low, so took off my head and a intake valve was bent. so i replaced it, lapped it. and it was all good to go.put on my head, now im not sure what can be wrong. could it be timing?
