head installed valve noise troubleshoot.

Default head installed valve noise troubleshoot.

installed b16a2 head new valves and valve seals. did the valve adjustment .006-.007 intake
.007-.008 exahust
engine was still about 90-120 degrees that was idle you here and sounds like coming from 3 or 4 not 1 and 2.
let me know what you guys think i should do i at this point. this is first time doing job i hope i didnt waste all my money on parts. :/

Did you adjust the valves with the engine cold? Perhaps sitting over night? Also, making sure that the exhaust valves are seated all the way in the head, as well as the intake, before adjusting...

why does that almost sound like a diesel lol ? that's not valve tap, could be the LMA's or the start of rod knock. maybe it's just your camera making it sound weird.

I don't know how to check lmas I took head of have to machine shop to install new valves and and valve seals I got it back installed and did valve adjustment that's it
It doesn't sound like anything broken or a rod knock rite it's just a valve tap?

bump. what action should it take now i did valve adjustment cold before start i just installed head car sat for 3months put it together 2 days and did valve adjustment after i put belt on thought i did everything correct i am going to check valve lash tomaro its only coming from left side.

Sounds exactly like the LMAs. They are 120 bucks to replace. I would do that and go from there. Also how were you measuring valve lash?
