Help! Car runs great cold.
About 6 months ago, I purchased an 94 Integra that has already been turbocharged. [Mistake #1].
In any case, I've sorted out many of the problems that were present when I bought the car [running rich, poor/messy install, wrong spark plugs, etc.] .. everything seems to be running quite well now, except for one problem.
When the car is cold [first thing in the morning, or it's been sitting out in the cold for a few hours], it runs amazing. It accelerates so quickly, I have trouble keeping it straight. However, it seems like the moment it reaches operating temperature, it doesn't pull nearly as hard.
Don't get me wrong, it still pulls pretty good, but not close to the amount it does when it's cold[er].
On a side note [possibly related], the boost will not climb as high when it warms up, as it does when it's cold. When it's cold, it will spool as high as I want it to. However, when it's warm, it seems to take longer to spool up, and then at around 7-8 psi [faithfully], it will throw a code. I haven't diagnosed the code yet, but I'm certain it has something to do with intake pressure.
Anyways, if any of you turbo gurus have any idea what could be the source of my problems, I'd appreciate any comments or feedback you may have. I'm still in the process of learning - and due to the trouble I've been having, I've been forced to learn a whole lot quicker.
Thanks a lot!

Its just the way it is. I'm sure everyone here has this same problem. The engine just runs more efficiently at colder temperatures
Dude...I'll feel your pain...my car runs great cold when in Limp mode (CEL mode) but I can't even beat saturns when it warms up I'm running so rich right now....and THAT is SAD

and don't run your car hard when cold! you should not even be boosting when the engine is not up to temp!!!!!

please describe your fuel setup
As for the fuel setup, I've got an inline pump [which is in the engine bay - I've heard this isn't the most ideal place for it], an FMU, and the injectors appear to be stock.
Also, instead of putting in a 'missing link', the previous owner opted for a pair of check valves before the MAP sensor. Are these reliable? I already noticed shortly after I purchased the car that one of the valves was not working properly, and it cost me a lot in fuel for that short time.
Anyways, let me know if I answered your questions - I'm still rather new to all this.
Thanks.
