Cold plugs and Cold weather starting
lately the weather here has been pretty cold, around 20-30 degreees..
i'm currently running NGK 8's in my 84.5mm gsr and when i start the car up, it seems to bog and studder at low ripms under 1.5k rpm, but if u give it gas up and above 3k rpm then the motor sounds fine.. Is this because the plugs i'm running in this cold of weather are too cold? after about a couple minutes of the engine running and idleing, the problem will go away and the car will drive and idle fine..
also, the reason why i'm running 8's instead of 7's is because i tend to get misfiring up top and the 8's helped out in that rpm range..
I"m considering going back to the 7's to see if the plugs are the cause of this..
thanks ahead for ur input..

Re: Cold plugs and Cold weather starting (92HB_HB)
Same thing happens to me but I was running 9s. I switched back to 7s for the street since I don't punch it that much anyways and it starts and cold idles much better.
