Default Amsoil

I have been using Amsoil motor oil and filters for the past 10 years with excellent results in all of my Honda vehicles. I use the Signature Series along with an Amsoil filter, and change the oil at 5,000 miles. My oldest Honda has almost 300,000 miles on it, and I would trust it to drive across the US. Anyone else had any experience with Amsoil products?

I had it in an ZF6 corvette trans, and it made the trans noisy and hard shifting.

I put in redline MTF and it made a big difference in noise and shifting ease.

There is a guy that put 900k miles on his 8th gen r18 civic and he used amsoil w/filter. However, he was changing his oil every 25k miles. He had his oil tested and came back still good after 25k miles and was told he could go longer between oil changes.

Amsoil is a good quality oil but I prefer Motul. I have been using Motul for 6 years now and haven't looked back.

When paying a premium for quality oil you should expect it to be far superior!

any SN rated oil being changed at 5000 miles will get your honda to 200-300k range. There isnt anything special with amsoil over your typical over the counter oils such as ....pennzoil platinum, valvoline synpower, castrol edge...etc...

Your engine won't notice a darn thing...
