Things u have to take apart to get to rear main seal: while car is jacked up on stands, first drain tranny fluids, take off front wheels, axels, shift linkage, any sensor/ ground wires connected to the tranny, tranny mounts, bolts from the tranny to the block, flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch. And IMPORTANT THING is you'll need a jack to hold up the tranny and slide out underneath. If u don't have one underneath it then ur tranny can fall and crack the tranny.
Not as easy as u think.

I found over 6 DIY's by a simple google search "replace clutch civic" in less than 5 minutes. Seriously OP. If this is a daily driver I would wait till you have 4-5 days off to do this, and while your at it you have the option to replace any of the following: the clutch, flywheel, throw out bearing, input shaft bearing and seal, oil pan gasket, get yourself an energy suspension shifter bushing set, and you can also replace the motor mounts, axles, brake rotors/pads or ball joints; if theyre bad since most of these things are coming off anyways. Something to consider. Bold items I would personally replace if I was doing this job.
