New Clutch Wont Work! WTF?!
OK now I'm sure you guys have heard this 500 times & I have read about every post, website & tried everything to figure out what's wrong here. This girl is pissed & sick of doing this! I just want my car to move!
OK so here we go...
1995 Honda Civic.. Swapped engine/trans for a 1991 Integra B18 type.
Clutch was pretty bad so I went ahead & dropped the tranny to put a new clutch kit in, nothing fancy just a stage 1 standard clutch..
After a butt ton of cussing I got the trans back on the engine put it all back together & I'm all excited to drive it... I start it right up & pull out with no issues. Notice the clutch pedal feels off so I go back to bleed it more...
I back out of my drive way, put it in 1st to pull off... POP.....
Car won't go into f*cking gear!!
Now... Here is all i have figured out...
1. The axles are in place I believe. The drive is great but passenger seems off a bit but i cant pop it out by hand but I'm not all that strain. I checked & double clecked.
2. It goes in gear with car on or off.
3. The 1st gear lurch forward test does NOTHING. Car wont budge.
4. The RPMs go up & speedo moves but car wont.
5. The slave is working it seems.
6. Adjusted the pedal.
7. Did more bleedig.
I have checked & rechecked everything it seems except takeing it back out & starting again!!
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to be sure its nothing else before I struggle with the tranny in & out again?? I'm to little for this crap lol its a guys job not a 110lb girls lol
Help!

How the heck do I get it back on there? It seems on but I have a feeling it may not be 100% & also the peddle still seems off would that cause it? I can do the job just can't trouble shoot worth the crap lol
take the axel out and re install it not a hard job just a pita....sounds like something I dealt with no to long ago only my axel just decided to pop out for some reason....replaced after that.
OK so after all this time that has passed I finally got the passenger axle to lock in place!
I'm about to see what happens & I will let you all know if that solved the issue
Wish me luck!! If this doesn't work I'm going to have a melt down because i started this at 10pm yesterday & worked all thru the night only to have this happen. Please let this have been the problem.

Alright... So I'm still having issues with the pedal tho. Its a weak clutch pedal & no matter how many times I bleed & adjust its still weak...
Any thoughts my awesome Honda lovers?!

Well either that or you bent the leaf springs on your new cluth... when the axel wasnt quite in and you tried putting it in gear was it stiff, hard to put into gear and you kinda had to force it... I've seen this happen personally... my friend called me up one day and couldnt get it to shift correctly... after I took a look at it and even gave it a couple of goes I noticed the axel not all the way in so I popped it in and it seemed fine but didnt grab right and sometimes grinded on quick shifts... we bleed and bleed and nothing finally I said f it and took out the trans and clutch only to notice that they were slighlty bent so it wasnt engaging correctly... hope this helps
