Default HELP!!! System Failure 1998 civic hatchback

I've changed my dash and also why I had the dash off I checked all the wiring out of curiosity and everything was good. So my problem is, I think my cd player is killing my battery which is allowing my car not to start. I've got the car started un-plugged the battery both positive and negative an left it running for 10 minutes and it didn't die at all. I drive 60 miles home, my cd player plugged in, listening to music, then in the morning my car starts fine. But when I went to leave the gas station to go back to work from lunch my car wouldn't start, like the battery is dead. **HENCE I"VE JUST STARTED HAVING THIS PROBLEM AND I"VE HAD THE CAR FOR A MONTH NOW** So I un-plugged the cd player an everything seems fine from what I've seen so far. The stock plug is there on the oem harness, but the harness coming from the cd player plug was kinda thrown together, so I took everything apart and cleaned it up. Haven't put it back in yet. ***ANY OTHER IDEAS**** lmk thanks.

Get a real adapter harness from Walmart or someplace.
