Default HELP!!! Weird problem! 96 civic ECU

Ok so I have a 96 civic hatch, with a d16z6, p29 pistons, shaved head equivilant to a y8 for high comp, and a -"P28" ecu chipped and tuned- obd2a-obd1 jumper harness

Last week I took my car to the shop, it took me 30 miles to get there, MY CAR RAN FINE!!!, I was gonna get a stage 2 clutch and 8lb flywheel installed and all bearings replaced, my mechanic pulls tranny and gets to work 2days later he calls me saying my car wont turn on, he checks it and no gas is spitting out the injectors, gas makes it all the way to fuel rail but dont come out injectors. Injectors arent getting current thru them to make em spit. He says it looks like it the ECU, so I bought a virgin just in case and head to the shop, he swaps the CHIPPED AND TUNED for the VIRGIN and it fires right up,,, so we put the chipped one back on and nothing....so its the ecu and tells me to to the guy that chipped it and ask him to fix it. I head over running the virgin ecu and retarded timing on car just incase, do to my high comp built, other guy opens CHIPPED ecu and says everything is good nothing burnt re sauders everything and plugs ecu back in and nothing put virgin and turns on fine, he check the chip out and his reader says its good and tune is good, he cut a piece of the chip that allows tune to run, when cutting the piece he says it makes ecu go back to virgin so I turn key and car fires right up, so it was odd, he then gets a even more proffesionally chipped ecu same p28 chipped by better proffesionals, he plugs it in and NOTHING AGAIN, so now he says it aint the ecu cuz he tried 2 different ones one not even made by him, he was stumped......now I gotta take my car back to my mechanic and figure this out...........

Anybody ever have this problem or know what it could be.......please help. This is one stressfull situation.... HELP

Ps. Both "mechanics" have 20+ experience. With just HONDAS and are more then trust worthy

Everything points to bad chips, right?

And by the way, the ECU does not supply current/voltage to the injectors. It provides the ground that makes the injectors fire.

Well yea pretty much, but like I said chip reader read chip and it was good, new chip was put on and same problem even a totally tuned and chipped ecu was put in and same thing... only with a virgin ecu does the car turn on.

My bad, but current still runs to injectors, and in this case it dont, and doesnt it tell injectors how much to spit out? so would it something be short circuiting, mechanic checked all fuses and they were good

I'd question the chip reader result and whether the new chip has the same problem.

If installing the chip causes the ECU not to work, then the chip is almost surely the problem.

pretty obvious answer.
your title is vague and frustrating. please be more specific with your future thread titles, and maybe use the enter button when you're changing subjects so we don't skip over the good parts of the story.

Thats what im thinking, but coincidence that a new chip didnt work as well, and a totally different chip from a different person different city chipped by professional's didnt work either.

Sorry about title and story, tried to type it up fast cuz it was late already.

Haha...that's a good one. Makes perfect sense that the stock ECU would be completely unaffected by bad dizzy cables.

-_- no joke. My mechanic just connected cables no plug and it ran great took it another 30 miles "ran amazing" to get it timed right by the tuner,

he times it and as I pull out of his drive way i go into first and it goes 10 ft and then .....shuts off....and wont start up again,

Call my mechanic Im going back he laughs thinking im playing.

I plug the virgin ecu and it starts up again same idling problem tho and shutting off.

FML

Another 30 miles back AGAIN
