Dude, I got the same problem in my 93 civic right now and it's annoying as hell! I can't even drive my kid in my car without the car shaking/ jerking at 1,500 rpm in every gear. I think I'm experiencing what you're experiencing because after my swap my car did this too! My real question is how did you fix this problem?

I have the same problem with my car. It will jerk at 1500 rpm on acceleration and deceleration even at idle when I rev at exactly 1500 rpm it will jerk. What we did last time was adjusted the TPS and the jerking problem went away but only at acceleration. I still have a problem with jerking on deceleration the same at 1500 rpm. One of my friend told me that it could still be TPS issue. He recommended me to check the adjustment. It should be 0.5 on close throttle and 4.5 on fully opened throttle. Will try to do an adjustment and will post the result if it fix the problem.

0.48v on closed throttle to be precise. WOT throttle is less critical and will vary from car to car. The critical part is the closed throttle of 0.48v.

So I'm lost, do I just adjust it? If so, how?

Hello. My Honda City (type 2 2001 model) also showed a similar issue. I experience the jerking at exact 1500rpm while decelerating. Do you think its an issue with the TPS settings?

I suspect a different enough car that it's not relevant to this over 8 year old thread. Please start your own thread in the Honda "City" forum where other City owners may be of help. And if your issue is TPS all info has already been posted or linked to for you to correlate it to your different vehicle.
