Ok so here is my issue, i pulled the old cluster and before even switching the speedo(to retain original miles) i noticed i do not have a green plug for the back of the new cluster (the one with the tach) Its not anywhere in there. Im wondering how I go about installing the factory plug or what I have to do? I can go pull a plug off a car at the local junkyard no problem

The green plug is only seen on automatic transmission clusters

 

when I swapped my 95 dx cluster I found an ex cluster from the junkyard, it swapped over just fine... Are you talking about the male end on the wire harness or the female end on the back of the cluster?

 

Don't worry about the green plug. There will be one small green plug on the cluster for cruise control and if it came from an automatic there will be a second larger plug for the PRNDL.
