What do I need for a d16z6 swap?
I might be getting the motor for cheap, but nothing else.
First of, is $250 worth a z6 w/ 120,000 miles?
Second, what else would I need to make a complete swap? It's going into a 94 dx coupe...can I use my existing tranny? Thanks!

Yes you can reuse your dx tranny but if I were you I would advise to find a ex/si tranny somewhere to go with it. Much better gearing
Other than that you'll need the z6 ecu and to run the vtec wires and your all set.
Also if the z6 is a 92-93 motor (valve cover won't say VTEC on it) the drivers side upper mount is different than the 94-95 mount. As long as it comes with the mount then your good to go but you can't mix a 92-93 mount with a 94-95 mount. They are two part, upper round mount and the part that attaches to the block under the timing cover. The 92-93 has two offset bolts and the 94-95 uses 2 straight bolts.
