Well I have never done it before, but I would imagine that you would need to put a jack underneath the engine (perhaps on the oilpan?) and gently jack it up a little bit to relieve the load on the mount. Then remove and replace.

Again, I'm not a mechanic and have never changed a mount, but that's how I would do it.

Have you tried your local auto parts, junk yard, pick-n-pull, etc?

srry to thread jack but mine is similarly doing this. my front tranny mount broke when i tried to unbolt the bolts from the frame, now the mount is loose and i cant get the bolts out, i think the nut that the bolts screw into broke off the frame, so their stuck in there, anyone got an idea on how to get it out?

no, you dont have to jack up your engine. you dont really need this if youre running performance engine mounts. alot of people dont use torque mounts. but i recommend using them anyways. it should just bolt off and on. i believe, 3 bolts onto tranny, 2 bolts onto frame, 1 nut to mount.

you shouldnt have to jack it up, the rest of the mounts are holding the engine, but if you do put a peice of wood on the jack under the pan.
