so i need a front tranny mount... any how to?
yea so my front tranny mount is DEAD! lol like its shot! anyone no were to get a new one for cheap! i would rather not pay 60$ for one. and... any fast and easy was to take it off? or just rip er out haha. thanks!!! :D you all have been so help full so far!! :D btw its a 93 del sol d16z6.

Well I have never done it before, but I would imagine that you would need to put a jack underneath the engine (perhaps on the oilpan?) and gently jack it up a little bit to relieve the load on the mount. Then remove and replace.
Again, I'm not a mechanic and have never changed a mount, but that's how I would do it.

srry to thread jack but mine is similarly doing this. my front tranny mount broke when i tried to unbolt the bolts from the frame, now the mount is loose and i cant get the bolts out, i think the nut that the bolts screw into broke off the frame, so their stuck in there, anyone got an idea on how to get it out?

yea the auto zone wants like 60$. lol f that. i might go to the junk yard then. yea i jacking it up a lil is the way to go. and... yea jack the mount up a lil and try to unscrew them. other wise.. drill them out lol.

you shouldnt have to jack it up, the rest of the mounts are holding the engine, but if you do put a peice of wood on the jack under the pan.
