2006 TL stutters and dies
So my coworker recently bought a 2006 TL that starts to die at stoplights when it's warm. It will chug accellerate poorly and will often die when he comes to a stop.
The first time this happened the dealer cleared the codes and gave it back. Still had the problem... The second time he took it back the dealer he bought the car from took it to the local Acura dealership where they replaced the MAP sensor, pigtail and the wiring harness. Still had the problem... He took the car to a mechanic he trusts who advised that he change the sparkplugs and coil packs.
My question is, has anyone experienced this problem before? Any idea what might be causing this?

try checking for vacuum leaks using carb spray. spray around the intake, throttle body, hoses, injectors ect. the throttle body likes to crap out, try cleaning the iac valve and ports out... or maybe swap one(throttle body) out with a know good one. check for carbon build up inside the intake plenum and make sure the egr passage is cleared. if it is a good size vacumn leak you more than likely can hear were it is comming from
Thanks for the replies! Coworker is out with an L&I claim right now, but when he gets back I will pass on the information.
The last mechanic he took it to said that non-OEM plugs were used and were arcing to the coils... Sounded unlikely to me, but the dealership is paying for it, so who cares, right?
