Default Interior fan only blows on speeds 3 and 4

Ok I got a weird ac problem going on with my 97 civic dx hatch. The ac compressor works when I hit the interior switch to 1/2/3/4 but I'm only getting cold air blown through the vents when the interior switch is at 3 and 4. It just all of sudden crapped out position 1and 2 last night.

That's your problem. Has nothing to do with the A/C - its an issue with the blower motor. You either have a bad speed switch or blower motor resistor. My money's on the blower motor resistor ;-)

I guess I'll pull out the ac switch assembly out tomorrow to see what's up

Again, it's not the A/C switch/button.. It is either your fan speed switch or your blower motor resistor. You can test them both of them, but I dont have ALLDATA on this computer so I'm not able to tell you the process at the moment ;-).
