AC/Heat problem turns on at high speeds....HELP!

AC/Heat problem turns on at high speeds....HELP!
I GOT A 96 CIVIC DX HATCH WIT 120K MILES ON IT, WHEN EVER I HIT HIGHWAY SPEEDS MY AC/HEAT TURN ON AND REMAIN ON UNTILL THE CAR IS SHUT OFF...AND THE FUNNY THING IS THAT THE SWITCH IS ON OFF, BUT THEY JUST TURN ON, WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE?

be more specific. the fan switch is off and but the fan turns on? the a/c compressor runs when the light in the button isn't lit? the a/c light in the button turns on and you can't turn it off?

let me clarify...sorry.
yes the fan turns on even tho the switch is on OFF, this happens when i hit highway speeds like 60mph+ and then it stays on for the remainder of the ride. i dont know why this happens...i guess it a bootleg automatic climate control...haha

a possibility...
my "through" air kicked on at speed before...but it actually slid my recirculate/through switch over to the through side of the middle...
dunno if there's anyway to check and see if there's a space where air is getting in and pushing open your through vents?
Mine was just not shut all the way when it happened to me...
