Slipping clutch *Brand New*
I just spent a whole day replacing my clutch awhile back, & it's slipping already not even 600 miles into owning it. My rear main seal is leaking all sorts of bad, literally losing like a quart every month. I just wanna know if there is some sort of problem that could be leading to this slipping already. Air in clutch fluid system, oil on clutch from leak, etc.. Yes, I did do everything properly, torqued everything to spec, everything is perfect. Just this small problem..
If you aren't even 600 miles into it, you aren't past break-in yet, but you're driving hard enough to know that it's slipping. Your rear main seal is leaking considerably, and might be flinging **** onto your clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate.

Well I always thought the rule of thumb was 500 miles is the break in period? I've surpassed that amount, & I'm not driving hard, I just can tell that when I shift it takes a second to fall back into normal gear rpm. But, do you really think that could be the case? Cause if imma do all the labor to pull the tranny again to replace the rear main when it couldv'e just been a cheap clutch kit fluke, I'd be pissed lolol

No. You can clean the pressure plate and flywheel, but you can't clean the clutch plate - those contaminants (as well as your evident improper break-in) will destroy it.
A leaky rear main seal wont typically leak oil onto the clutch, it leaks on the back side of the flywheel and gets flung off. A leaky transmission input shaft seal will leak transmission fluid on a clutch though. In any case if the disc is contaminated with oil or transmission fluid it's ruined and needs to be replaced.
