I am trying to collect input on turbo cams. Has anyone isolated on a dyno gains from turbo cams, preferebly GSR Built and lots of boost?

I was told that the new skunk2 turbo cams would make 10-15 hp gain over stock right off the bat........

 

tony from jotech said they went 172mph on stock GSRs.

I will be switching from Stock GSR Cams to JG Turbo cams soon. Will let you know how it goes.

 

Ok, I took the plung, installed and Street Tuned some JG Turbo cams for my Turbocharged GSR engine. The result: the seat of my pants tells me, a smoother transition into VTEC (less jerking ), more low-end torque, mad hp up top, and idles like a ***** cat purring. I have a Speedpro bank to bank engine management unit. Can't wait to actually dyno tune my car using the new cams and adjust cam gear settings. Just thought everyone would like to know.

 

I will know in a few weeks here, went with Crower Turbos in my H22...The Car Idle is not that bad, it shakes more than anything because of my motor mounts, but man do these things sound beast..My friend put them in his DSM and he said it was the most noticable thing he had ever done to the car besides the 16g....

 

Any1 try out the Skunk2 turbo cams??

 

Anybody have any experience with crower turbo cams breaking for the d16y8?
