Obd1 B16a in obd2b harness 2000 civic si
I have a conversion harness to a chipped obd1 ecu. but im wondering will my b16a2 obd2 harness hookup with this obd1 b16a. I already have the obd2b harness. and i dont want to use the obd2 parts because im not sure which one works and which one doesnt i want to use the obd1 parts. what would be my best route, or what can i do. obd2 dizzy. btw
OBD has nothing to do with the motor, only ecu and some electrical parts connected to the ecu.
Put the OBD2 parts (dist, injectors, alternator, maybe oil pump if you don't want to do the bypass trick) on the B16a and hook your harness up and rock on.

alright so if i have a obd1 harness laying around i wont have to switch those parts around? i could plug it straight into the ecu and straight on the parts correct?
You can't use the OBD1 engine harness in the OBD2 Civic unless you swap the interior harness to OBD1 also. Two peice vs one peice engine harness.
