I searched.. (info on converting to obd1 96 civic dx swap B16a sir2) what needs to be done
Was wondering what exactly i will need to do to convert this car to obd1, i ordered the motor from Hmotorsonline.com they are great.. anyways.. can i use the obd1 engine harness to plug into the car harness and then a conversion harness at the ecu or what.. do i do i really need help..

you want to run an obd1 sir-2 in your 96 dx right? the obd1 engine harness WILL NOT plug into your car harness. the best thing to do is to swap out all the obd1 specific parts to obd parts, then lengthen the plugs on your STOCK engine harness, then add vtec/knock wires.
OBD2 things you'll need:
- injectors
- altenator
- distributor
then for the ecu, use a obd2a->obd1 jumper harness. run either a chipped p28 or p30 ecu

So then there is no way to make it work with the obd1 parts at all. ima have to buy the remaining parts listed there..
for the ecu im getting the jdm obd1 ecu..
