Tranny not fully disengaging in neutral?
99 Civic EX - After doing a brake job, with the front end lifted up, when I run the engine, the driver side hub is turning forwards slowly. (*) The force on it is so light I can easily stop it with my hand and the wheel doesn't turn when the tires and rim are mounted. When I press in the clutch the hub stops turning, so it looks like there is a bit of engagement. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on:
1) What could be causing this?
2) How to fix it?
3) How much am I harming the car by leaving it in this condition?
Thanks in advance, guys!
(*) I haven't noticed this when the entire car was up on stands (and level) but I wasn't looking for it so I may have missed it, just throwing it out there in case it may be relevant.
