91 honda accord with blinking S light
I have a 91 Honda accord ex with a blinking s light and tcu code 7. I know the codes for shift solenoid A. The light was blinking before and the car would only shift between 2nd and 3rd gear when in D3 or D4. I had this problem for awhile but thought I fixed it when I put a new shift solenoid on it. The shift solenoid solved the problem for about 2 weeks and now the light is blinking again and has code 7 for the shift solenoid A.
Anyone have any advice? I'm thinking the tcu has a problem or maybe I have a bad connection at somewhere. I havnt had time to check it good connections yet but will probably be checking it tonight or tomorrow. I also posted this thread on the Honda accord forum

Re: 91 honda accord with blinking S light
The S light blinking sounds like a faulty trans module. I never tossed mine out when I converted it to a manual with my H22 swap; if you need it, PM and I'll hook you up for 20 bucks and shipping. Mine was an SE and I recall there was a switch that I removed also for the S feature, a push on push off near the shifter. Have you spilled anything on it?

Ok well I've never spilled anything on it but my girlfriend or mom might of spilled something because they used to drive it a lot. I'll let you know about the tcu, i'm gonna check the connections again and then probably pull the tcu and check it for burnt resistors and leaking capacitors. Thanks for the reply
