99 Civic SI Popping while turning
Having an issue when turning and putting a load on the front the front end pops really bad. I checked all the ball joints and the cv axles are brand new. It doesnt happen when turning and the clutch is pushed in but as soon as you let the clutch out or you take off from a stop with the wheel turned it pops really bad. Someone told me it may be the differential could be bad. I am just at a loss at this point.

It sounds like it is the differential. Only reason I say this is because I bought a tranny which was "perfect" and after I put it on my car, I was test driving it my car was "popping" while I was turning as you describe. After I took the tranny apart and inspected it, the differential was messed up, shaking loose when it is not suppose to be. The tranny's gears were screwed up as well. I got ripped of on that tranny.
Only way to be certain is take of the tranny case and inspect the transmission.

The car has been lowered for about 7 years with no issue. Was just taking off from a stop about 2 weeks agoamd heard a pop and now it pops everytime I take off with the wheels turned or put the car under load taking a turn.
