95 Accord misfire/smell of gas issue
First of all I just bought this car for $1000 and aside from the problem it seems like a pretty good buy. This will be my daily once I get it fixed so I really need help here. So anyway, it starts and runs fine better actually once its up normal driving speed but at idle it really vibrates and shakes the whole car, plus there's a really bad gas smell coming from where? I do not know. So I changed the plugs and wires and nothing changed. I did notice that the plug in cyl. 1 was extra fowled compared to the other 3. Also there's a lot of black residue around that injector as well. So here's my problem, I have a multimeter handy and wish to check the resistance on the injector, but I'm stuck at how exactly to remove the plug. I don't see any clips or anything to squeeze or whatnot and I don't want to break the connector plug either. All I see are little indentations on either side of the plug but squeezing them doesn't seem to help either. So any help would be much appreciated and if anyone has any ideas on other possible causes to my problem, I'm all ears.
No ideas?
Anyway, I got the connecters of(didn't see those small metal clips) and I tested the resistance across all four injectors and they all matched. Not only that but I went ahead and took them out and cleaned em real good. While I was at it I thoroughly cleaned out the egr valve in which 3 of the ports were clogged solid. So after all that I still have a misfire on cylinder 1. So either the injector is clogged internally or the timing is off.
If anyone has anything else in mind as to the problem I'd greatly appreciate it.

Pull a used fuel injector from the junkyard and sub it in for the existing number 1 injector. Since you didn't say exactly which car/trim you have I'll leave it up to you to figure out which cars/trims you can pull an injector from to get the same exact injector.
Keep in mind not all injectors from the same year are the same.

Also my car is an Ex with a 2.2L vtec or f22b1. And other than those problems the rest of the engine seems pretty strong.
