Default Help! Idle problems

Ok, I have a stock B18A1 (5 spd) in my teg with 138k miles, as of recently it's been having trouble idling (bouncing up to 1k and dropping to around 400 RPM) and just a little while ago I started off and my car seemed like it had no power, I had to almost floor it to get it to move then it drove fine.. It's hard to explain but that's the best I can do.. anyone have an idea

BTW... just got new MSD plug wires and NGK plugs about 4k miles ago

How's your gas mileage? You might want to check your wires just incase. Any other info?

Gas mileage is around 24-27 depending on how I drive it, what other info do you need?

Sounds similar to this:

Fuel Pressure, Poor spark plug / wire contacts, when's the last time your fuel filter was changed?

There are too many possible causes.
Tell us how the car behaves:
While warming up parked.
While warming up driving.
Gas pedal at WOT under load.

I'm not really sure how, but I think I solved the problem.. All I did was turn my idle screw all the way in then took it out 1 1/2 turns and all is good..... for now. But there's still a miss in the engine, and I don't know why

How's she running?
Are you still missing sometimes?
I'd replace individual plug wires and test that way if you are still "missing".

You can also test the resistance on each wire with a multimeter. Should be less than 25 kOhm.

Let us know.
