i have a ef with a obd1 vtec conversion no check engine light just feels like vtec is not hitting checked everything please help

 

Have you removed the solenoid to check the gasket's screen filter for clogs?

 

I hope you get help here. I have the same problem and havent had any luck here. I have been told that I need make sure the vss wire from the cluster matches up with proper pin on the ecu, some jumpers are off. I would think I would have a cel if that was the case. I have hondata on the way so I should be able to get it to engage.
