Default B16A Upgrades

I have a B16A in my 95 really dont want to run boost i have heard alot of problems that you can run into. just wanting to know what i can do and where to start to get the most out of my engine and avoiding boosting. There are no mods on my engine as of now and i still have stock exhaust. Good opinions are really appreciated.

a b16 really isn't worth going "all motor" on the lack of TQ is the biggest down side. plus it's only 160 +/- 2 hp. if you really want you could just throw bolt on's on it or save for boost as it's not problematic if DONE RIGHT and tuned properly afterwards.

well don't buy a header as that will get swapped out for a turbo manifold should you boost, you can upgrade the intake manifold+ throttle body possibly pick up a 3'' exhaust but I would go into doing the rest if you're new to Honda's. read around the Forced induction section first if you hav enough $ saved consider a K swap wouldn't net a much HP as boost but an k with bolt on's in pretty damn fun in a sol.

Look in the forced induction forum and do a lot of research and even copy a good build.

Read. And read some more. Be prepared to do a few months of research before you even buy your first part.

Went from no boost to preparing for boost that quickly. Slapping your b16 head and trans on a gsr block would be a good first move.if you decide against boost.

Read the force induction forum FAQS

Also saying "jdm life style" will get you laughed at.

if you're unsure about what route to take i think you should keep it stock for now. maybe invest more into your suspension. prepare it for what ever upgrades you plan to do to it.
