car wont start
Just finished my JDM D15B VTEC swap to replace the d15b7. Problem is it wont start. I got fuel and spark with both the p06 and p08 ecu. Vtec is not wired nor is the pressure switch( codes 21 & 22) Would that keep it from starting? im lost on it so all suggestions and advice are welcome. Thanks
only fucked with 4 grounds and they are good. timing seemed fine but ill be breaking it down to check it again tomorrow. im 99% sure timing is right. From what ive read this is common..but if its not the timing then idk.
if you have good spark, fuel and timing is correct, all that is left is compression, constantly trying to start an engine that is getting fuel can "wash" the cylinder walls, resulting in a loss of compression so be carful with that.
i'm not saying that's what is wrong but it wouldn't hurt to check it(comp test). I was saying be careful not to wash the cylinder walls by starting it over and over whilst the fuel is not combusting rather being flooded into the cylinders causing them to be "washed".

i see. havent messed with it since my buddy left. actually about to swap it back to the p06 and start working to get the timing covers off. also going to check relay and set dizzy back 180. if everything checks out imma try to crank it. if the damn thing dont start it will just sit until i find the prob. thanks for the insight
fuel injectors arent spraying. connectors only give 1.4v and it needs @ least 7 right? ecu still only throws 21 & 22. im at a standstill. idk where to start. everything is wired properly
its less than 2v on both ecu. p06 runs no cel p08 runs 21 and 22. pump primes rail gets fuel. injectors just dont get voltage. idk **** about electrical so how do i tell if relay is bad?
