I know it's not a Honda, but wanted to share this with everyone on here.

Bad fire tonight at MIR. So glad that Francis Johnson was ok and not burned. I have to thank my staff and our Fire/Safety crew! They are the best in the business and they saved FJ's car. Believe it or not Francis came back from this fire tonight to race again and went 2 rounds in ODR!!! WOW!

Here are some pics below back in the staging lanes for first round! We just couldnt believe that because the fire was put out that quick that he was actually still able to come back and race a few hours later that night. And he won 1st round!!!!

 

holy crap, It's pretty amazing you were able to get it out fast enough to save the car so much he could continue on later that night. That is amazing.

 

Wow incredible is right. Glad the driver was ok and just amazing it did not do more damage to the car.

Wow! He's been having a hard time with this car lately. I hope his luck changes for the better. I like seeing this car run. When its on point it can run with the best of them.
