In my honest opinion, buy a K20, there are several stock bottom end K20/24 based cars out there pushing the limits and making the power you desire. For what you would spend on building your D17, and being there just isn't a big market for your D series that you're wanting to build off of, you'd be cheaper and happier in the long run with a K series based engine, it would require a good bit of fab work and one off parts to make that kinda power, and I really doubt at the end of the day, you'd be able to make pull after pull and not fight issues. Im no expert, but I figured id give you a honest answer and why I give the answer vs some of these wizard dick key pad ninjas with there garbage.

Not sure if OP is trolling or just a total newb. Regardless of what your doing, k-series is the only smart way to go about this, or get a different car. D17 is useless for anything other then commuting.
