Idiots on the road..
Well i was out driving yesterday with my girlfriend..
and this little dihatsu chirade pulled up next to me, with its motorbike exhaust..
full of arabs, they looked like they wanted to race..
I dont really race people, especially if my girlfriend is in the car.. especially because i knew i would win.. anywho.. so they took off, and i was not far behind.. we wernt racing i just wanted to sit behind them.. and they tried flooring it, so i wacked it into third..
and over took them by a mile, put it in fourth.. when a truck 500 metres in front of me pulled out threw 3 lanes so he pulled out and wen to the furthest right lane.... on a highway, and that was fine.. but then a car behind it tried to pull out into the left lane, MY LANE...
i was going fast.. so i start trying to slow down, my back end started to slide, i was then i handle it so i drifted left and then right, went through the middle lane in between the car and the truck.. scared the **** out of me..
but i guess, there's no such thing as safe speeding..

hmmm, thats true in the states.
What was the speed limit on the road you were on? I remember reading some articles that said some roads in australia don't have speed limits. But they have truck trains that don't stop for anything.
After reading the OP's, i'm guessing he's calling himself an idiot for driving recklessly with his girlfriend in the car. I've done it myself, sped a little, then had to get on hard on the brakes causing the tail end to slide out a bit. I blamed the "idiot" that didn't check there mirrors or mis-judged my speed, but in the back of my head I knew i was at fault also. Just be more careful when you speed, and anticipate "idiots" more often to keep yourself out of trouble.

Spot on.
I **** myself, i knew it was his fault but at the same time it was my fault..
btw the rule of some roads in australia not having speed limits, is .. mostly for the country..
the reason they have it in the country is because its all dirt roads out there.. and some people drive slower then others.
and also australia has a leagel limit of 110, you cannot go over 110 at all anywhere.
in sydney where i live, the roads are usually around 50 to 90 km's..
highways and free ways are 110..

heh when I was reading that, I was trying to picture the situation on a road where you drive on the left side - truck was in right lane, which on the left side of the street is supposed to be the "fast" lane, and the car pulled out in the left "slow" lane.
Over here in the US I can't stand it when I'm driving in the right lane (usually the slow lane) and somebody pulls out (turns right), and I either have to get on my brakes or zip around them.
