Default still leaking...

Iv had this oil leak since day one. its leaking from under the dizzy. iv replaced the dizzy o ring with an oem ring. and picked up a vavle cover from oriley and their still seems to be drips on my heater hose and around the vavle cover right by the dizzy. it seems to like to cake onto some sensor that's down below as well. can a sensor leak oil lol. should I buy an oem vavle cover gasket?

yes some sensors can leak oil. such as a oil pressure sensor. those dizzy o-rings are notorious for leaking though.. bad install?

The sealent that goes under your cam caps either was applied wrong , deteriorated overtime or missing clean the surfaces real good and re seal you will have no more leak next to the dizzy .

I don't think it was a bad install. first time I replaced it with some cheap after market o ring, but now it has the oem ring. can it be cam seals?

The SOHC engine doesn't have a cam cap since there is only 1 cam and it's connected to the distributor, I'd put $100 that it's the shaft seal inside the distributor, you cannot replace it either, you have to buy a distributor.

Every oil seal behind the timing belt, there are 4. Water pump and balance belt would be smart too. I'd never do a timing belt on my car without replacing the water pump and all oil seals on that side of the engine because then if 1 leaks you're tearing it all back down again.

You should clearly be able to tell if your crank seal is leaking. If it's coming from the distributor area, it's most likely from the distributor. Crank seal is the bottom of the engine. Oil doesn't leak upwards. If the bottom of the motor, next to the transmission is caked with oil, it's probably the crank/rear main. Sounds like you need a distributor seal and cam one, from what I can tell from your post.

Just take some pics or even make a video. Make sure it's clearly visible.
