dizzy leaking oil.. help

Default dizzy leaking oil.. help

i have had a oil leak for the past few days and i found out were it was from. i noticed i had oil all over my tranny and followed it and it lead to the dizzy.. there is alot of oil under the dizzy right belowe were it connects to the motor.. and there is also a little bit of oil leaking from the bottom of the dizzy cap.. is there a o ring or a gasket that needs to b between the dizzy and the motor cuz thats were its leaking from

yup there is an o-ring between the dizzy and head. pretty common leak too.

I replaced the O ring three times, even had a real mechanic do it the fourth time and it always leaks. I hate that fuking o ring.

I used honda bond on the flat surfaces of the block and dizzy when I installed the last o ring. I has never leaked now.

Maybe it's your cam seal then.

There's no cam seal on a SOHC.

For me, it ended up being the vtec solenoid gaskets. There are two of them. I'd replace the distributor o-ring, the valve cover gasket, and the vtec solenoid gaskets and that should fix the leak

for me, it was most likey gas *** vatozone o-rings.

the hondabond worked for me on the dizzy. Nothing leaks on my car now.

yeah its off a obd2 ls in my civic ima try to replace the oring and see if that helps.. kan u explain more about the bond between the dizzy and the block.. wat part do i put it on?

i would just repalce the o ring without using anytype of bond. see how it goes then maybe seal it with a bond.
