Default Fuel goes up and temp stays down problem

Hello,

I have an issue with my car.
My car had some issues, fixed after replacing the injectors.
But there is still one big problem, when im driving with the car a lot of times the gas gauge goes up to complete full, even when the gas is half full or even less.
So it looks like i have full gas when i don't, when its up it doesnt go down until i leave the car off for a while and start it again. It goes down and stays down until i drive a bit.

The water temp on the other hand stays 'cold' i replaced the thermostat because first only the down horse was warm and up stayed cold.
That is fixed now they are both warm when i drove a bit.
The heater and everything works perfect so there is not the problem.

The fan does go on i saw yesterday but i don't really hear the fan when i'm driving or when i drove for a while, stand still open the hood.. the fan is most of the time off.

I cannot really know how warm the car is because i cannot see it.
I was thinking of buying a water temp gauge and sensor, but the original should work fine.

I cleaned the connectors at the fuelpump under the rear seat already but it didn't change.

It's a civic coupe LSi from 1994, witch should have a D15B7 but i found out that is has a D14A2 engine in it.. doesn't matter for me but i don't know if that is the problem.

Before i'm going to buy a new clustor unit i want to ask here if anyone know where i can start searching.

I already took the clustor down, did all the cables out, did them in again but that didn't solve the problem.

Maybe someone else has an idea what i can be?

Did the problem randomly start happening one day, or was this a problem you inherited when you bought the car?

Was already there but he didn't tell me about it, only that the car sometime doesn't respond on fas, but I fixed that with new injectors.

Default Where does this plug goes to?

I searched on google on all types of harnesses but i cannot find it.
Its a 1993 del sol clustor kabel, it ends with a white plug (see picture)
Does anyone have a picture and name of where that plug should be connected to?

Because i cannot connect my heater panel plug and that plug because there is nothing to connect it to.

So i need to know how it looks or what the name is, and if the heater panel cable it also going in there or is that going somewhere else?

That looks to me like the Stereo plug for the stock stereo prior to 98. Is it from the center consol area?

You can find the wiring diagram here if that is indead the stereo plug.

Took me a few months to find mine to go back to stock plugs to do a proper install for my deck.

Based on the color wires it is 98 % the stock stereo harness.

It's definitely the plug for the stereo, no question about it.

okay but if it is the stereo plug, how and where do i connect my heater panel and the plug for the heater fan and radiator?
The cable that is connected to my clustor only have this white plug left.
But there is nowhere an other plug to be found

Did you make sure the coolant temp sensor for the cluster was plugged in? It's a single wire, goes onto a sensor under the distributor. Very easy to miss.

The dash harness for the cluster doesn't include the plug for the heater controls, it comes from the harness that runs on the other side of the dash.

Hej, I checked everything.

the fuel stays normal now, i Guess that was a civic problem.
I build the complete harness myself for the dashboard.

The temp stil stays down, so that was not dashboard related or cable that is connected to the left side of the harness related.

The plug is in the thermostate housing (that should be the temparature... right?)

No, the plug for the thermostat housing is the fan switch. There are three temperature plugs - the fan switch in the thermostat housing, the coolant temp sensor for the ECU under the distributor, and the single wire coolant temp sensor for the cluster, also under the distributor.

Like I said earlier, check the single wire to make sure it's plugged in.

I checked it, yes it is there and also plugged in.
