hey all. quick question...i'm working on a friend of mines car for him while he's deployed and i'm putting his d16z6 back together for him. it's got a greddy 15g td04 on in running an evo8 front mount and who knows what intercooler piping kit. in all my work on this car, i've never seen the BOV anywhere.....not on the charge pipe, not on the hot side, nothing... I've looked into the 15g and i've read some stuff that says it's got an integrated bypass valve on it from the factory....is this correct? Before the motor came out, i drove it and it was fine, no lag and compressor surge that i notice, but it's just strange that i never noticed it before. i've never worked on one like this and i dont think he's dumb enough to invest the money then have it blow due to compressor surge... any thoughts would be appreciated.
