Default Can I use a 5-bolt housing on a 4-bolt turbo/same A/R?

Just found out my Turbonetics T04B/T3 just took a **** on me and the CHRA is destroyed.. I just ordered a Precision 3254 T3/T4 turbo to replace it. This turbo comes with a .63 A/R 4-Bolt turbine housing.

Can I use my .63 A/R 5-bolt turbine housing from my turbonetics with my .63 A/R 4-bolt precision turbo? Will it even fit/bolt up?

If yes, would I need a rebalance? I honestly just built my downpipe and welded it with a 5-bolt flange and I have NO time to redo it.

Only if they are using the same size turbine wheel, and cartridge type. A rebalance is not needed.

The exhaust housing are matched to their respective turbine wheel. So unless it is the same exhaust wheel in both, no you could not swap housings.

Edit: Was typing as TheShodan was posting... what he said.

Alright, thanks. I'll stop spamming the FI thread now. Just had to get a few issues figured out. Glad I decided to order a 4 bolt flange just in case!
