Default lower strut bolt

I'm doing struts and springs in the civic but on the lower strut bolt, the rubber bushing seized to the bolt. Got it broken loose but half the bushing is stuck to the bolt preventing it from freeing. Anybody got a cool trick for this?

Get one!

I had to cut the nut on the other side and spread the shock fork a lil to get it off then get new bushings from dealer.

Lol how much does a decent torch run? Are there any other tricks to free the bolt or is kill it with fire the answer?

they dont come off and if you try and wrench it off with a breaker bar your just gonna snap the head off and still have it stuck

when / if you get it off grease the new bolt well before putting it back on

Once that bolt is sufficiently rusted to the inner sleeve of the bushing there's really no hope. It's really one piece of metal. If you get a solid grip on the bolt and don't snap it, you can bend the tabs on the control arm as the inner sleeve won't come thru.
