Default 99 DX no start after removing dizzy. worked fine before.

99DX W/y7.

no codes fuel pump primes battery is good have tried starting it when jumped won't even crank. I'm thinking lose/bad ground ? starter doesn't click you can turn the key all you want....nothing. all I did was take the distributer off never touched the battery or anything else it worked fine before. Could use some input

Try tapping the stater with a hammer while someone turns the key.

Yes, I tried taking the cap off snapped one of the 3 bolts so it's stuck on there pretty good stopped after that.

starter has never acted up gave it a hit or two. the lights and all come on just nothing when I turn the key aside from the pump priming. it's not cranking/trying to turn over

yes but I've done this several times with my GS-R never hurt it will have a look at the fuses tomorrow never though of that may have shorted(blown fuse) something would seem odd but worth a check.

Did you disconnect the G3 transmission ground?

Have you checked both starter wires (motor and solenoid)?
