belt squeak!
I noticed a very small squeak coming from my belts tonight. Its not horrible yet but I need some remedy advice to get it to go away before it gets worse. All my belts are fairly new, no cracks and they aren't dry. Should I replace them anyway just to play it safe? Also I've googled for it but just can't find anything on it but where can I get a timing belt cover for my b16a? I don't want a rock flying up there and screwing my engine.
if the belt is new, it's either too loose, too tight or the belt isn't the issue(pulleys/tensioner)
have you determined which belt it is?
belt conditioner is a temporary fix for squeal. an older mechanic would say to use a generic bar of soap.

Its been about a year since they were replaced. I did have that problem with my alternator belt pulley falling off of the engine last month but I had that tightened to spec by a Honda dealership. It sounds like it might be coming from the alternator belt though.
