Fuel Gauge, RPM Gauge Problem
I am just getting ready to purchase a 99 BB6. The fuel gauge doesn't work, along with the RPM gauge (there's a separate tachometer installed). I'm guessing it's not the float or the wheel speed sensor because the fact that they're both not working, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Would buying a whole new cluster fix this? Or is there anything I can do to zero-in on the specific problem to save me time and money? Also, if I did buy a new cluster, how do I go about making sure the mileage is correct?
Thanks in advance.
