Default Need OE Wiring Schematics

Looking for the following schematics from Honda for the 1992-1995 Honda Civic EX:

Charging System

PGMI-FI / ECU

Please do not link me to the ECU pinouts made by others. I'm not looking for that.

Thanks.

That looks an awful lot like what Autozone has on their site.

The reason I'm asking for this is somewhat complicated.

Okay, it's my '88 CRX HF with a '98 D16Y8 (Civic EX) running a '93 chipped P28.

I've been eating alternators and batteries for awhile here and so I was going over my wiring and it appears I have some inconsistencies in the ECU jumper harness.

The two biggest issues with the wiring that I'm interested in is what the ECU pinouts I've seen seem to point me to this:

A21 (P28 ECU side of jumper harness) (Alternator Control ALTC) goes to B03 (OBD0 side of jumper harness) (Alternator FR Signal ALTFR).

and

D05 (P28 ECU side of jumper harness) (Alternator FR Charge Signal) goes to B17 (OBD0 side of jumper harness) (Alternator Control ALTC).

But the electrical troubleshooting manual shows a bit of a typo on some end as well, I think...

Content from the ETM:
Code:
B03 (Alternator RF Signal) (BLU) --> C210 (Right side of engine compartment) #7 (WHT/YEL) --> Voltage Regulator wire C (Computer)
Code:
D05 (Alternator Output Signal) (YEL) --> C210 (Right side of engine compartment) #13 (BLU) --> Voltage Regulator wire FR (Frequency)
So the manual itself calls both C and FR...

I have the manual calling both C and FR, O'Reilly's computer tells me what each pin on the voltage regulator is supposed to be as well (C, FR, IG, L). I'm not sure what is right and what is not.

So I'm trying to make sure of the wiring on the P28 (since that's what I have in there) to continue on with my tracing and checking.

Also, your wire colors don't match up in those two pics. Pic 2 (ECU) shows WHT/YEL, GRN/RED, and PNK going to the charging system, but pic 1 (charging system) shows WHT/GRN, WHT/RED, and WHT/BLU.

I know my wiring changes at a shock tower plug, but I don't see any such thing in your diagrams.

I know a site that has manuals, but does not have the ETM. The site I know of has a mess of '92-'95 manuals... but I haven't yet managed to download the US one (they're not really labeled to say what is what). I don't need other countries' versions screwing me up more with this. lol

If you find an electronic etm, pm me please. Otherwise, I have the electrical section of the FSM as a seperate PDF (not the etm though)

I just looked through the '93 ETM and the diagrams are pretty similar to what HondaPartsHero already posted. I'd post them anyway but it's a hard copy of the manual.

The wire colors are different though

C is white/yellow and goes to white/yellow (A16)
FR is blue and goes to pink (D9)
IG is black yellow
L is white/blue

ELD is green/red and goes to D10

Everything in the ETM checks out with Katman's pinouts on FF-Squad as far as the OBD1 side of things go, unfortunately I don't have an '88 - '91 ETM, which arguably would have been the more useful of the two to have.

The big question is are they OEM Denso alternators or crappy Mitsubishi based remans? If it was me I'd be very tempted to swap ALTC and ALTFR.

I'm reluctant to swap the wiring around as the jumpers I have were produced by a company for me and I would like to get the correct conversion harnesses later. So I'm understandably not trying to modify the current ones that I might have to return.

I have the FSM and ETM for the '88-'89 Civic CRX. One problem I've run into is that the HF has different wiring than the Si had from the ECU (so I've been told on other sites by EF fans), so that might be why my jumper is wrong, if that is indeed correct (I'm checking a million times before I say I need a new one made for sure, since I don't need another bad part and more alternators and batteries to go to sacrifice). To complicate things more, some people are saying the ETM might be wrong...

I'll type up the info I have and post it in a few. Might just take me a minute to get it written up.

Well, I'd like to see the OE diagrams myself because I want to compare them to what I have in my manual here since I believe I see inconsistencies (C and FR are swapped at some point, and I'm not sure which claim is correct).

I'm running the D16Y8 as a totally stock motor except that it has OBD1 injectors. Everything else on the engine is stock. The first thing that changes is the harness (OBD0 with conversion harnesses). So the alternator and all is the D16Y8 alternator (with OBD0 to OBD1/2 adapter), which came out of my '98 coupe (US) meaning it's the ND alternator.

Got all my wiring figured out. Now just need to confirm or deny that:

(this is how it matches to my alternator)

D05 = FR
A21 = C

I think the wiring is right.
