p28 in 1989 CRX hf
I have an HF 89 CRX. I have a b16a swap I've dropped in there. I have a racing ECU that is a p28 that is chipped for a GSR to go into 92-95 CIVIC. I was told that this ECU will plug straight up to my wiring harness. I havn't tried it yet because the ECU is not actually in my hands. I was also told that to make this 0bd1 ECU work in my car I would only have to add 1 02 sensor.
Is there any truth to this and is this possible with and easy installation? I think that if these facts that I was given are true then I have a cheap ECU. This ECU is a friend of mines and he had this on his GSR and between this ECU and his stock ECU made his car so much faster. I couldn't believe the difference. Thanks for information in advance.

The ecu will not plug into the CRX's wiring harness, unless you have an OBD0-OBD1 wiring harness conversion. Don't know exactly how well the P28 will perform on your car, may not give the same gains as your friends car.

The plugs on the OBD1 P28 are different from the ECU plugs (OBD0) in your CRX. In order to use that ECU, you will need an OBD0 to OBD1 ECU adapter harness and then some rewiring as well. You will need to rewire and use an OBD1 distributor, OBD1 injectors, 4 wire O2 sensor and some additional wiring will be needed as well.

Yes like Vtecvillian said
depending on the OBD of the motor and harness
you may have to wire some stuff up like four wire oxygen sensor
