my civic hesitates when I accelerate, it does it between 2-3 rpm almost everyday, drives me nuts, after kicking back in runs fine. Ive seen similar threads with NO results, anyone fix the problem? there is no engine light on, we changed the engine temp sensors, sending unit, after a friend had the same problem, they weren't too expensive so no big deal, worked for like a day or 2 and were at it again...frustrated

 

So, no CEL? Are you sure the CEL light even works? Sometimes people take out the bulb.
Get your ignition and mechanical timing checked.
When's the last time it had a tune-up on the:
Distributor/Dizzy, Dizzy rotor, Dizzy cap, Spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc;?
How are the O2 Sensors?
Any vacuum leak? Here's how to check:

 

Ok how and where do I check to see if the bulb has been taken out? Im sorry that may sound stupid forgive me I bought the car a year ago, hasnt had a tune up, supposedly had one from the dealer who sold it to us

Pay someone to check it.

start the car and look to see if the Check Engine light turns on and off.
