97 Civic Ex - CEL Codes P1339 and P0301
Not very often do I get a chance to actually post on here for my own car, however this time around I have a CEL that I know is a dime a dozen. Just got back from Autozone in which they pulled both codes: P1339 and P0301 for the second time.
I had originally got the code about 3 weeks ago, so I did a pretty decent tune up, and after resetting the ECU it seemed to clear up until now.
I have replaced the Spark Plugs (NGK Iridium), Spark Plug Wires (NGK Premium), and the Distributor Cap/Rotor (Bosche).
I was sure that when I did the cap, that all wires were exactly changed over in the correct order, as I did one at a time.
Now I am not very car savvy myself so I have a feeling anything further I may need to take to a mechanic to do, but just curious is there anything that yall would recommend I could check first.
First off one of the main symptoms I notice (aside from the CEL ofc).. is that during a cold start of the car, you feel the idle vibrate quite a bit.. however once it warms up after a minute or so.. it runs perfectly fine and purrs like a little kitty.
I do have a Fuel Filter I still need to install, and I have been reading quite a bit on fuel injectors/pumps possibly causing this code? The only thing is I really do not want to throw a bunch of money at this, but have a feeling its going to head that way! LOL .. Also, I did have my mechanic check for vacuum leaks/compression tests not that long ago, though suppose doesn't hurt to double check.
Also, the vibration symptom after looking around.. that makes me want to lean towards the IACV being clogged up or something, but would that cause missfires?

PS: This is my DD from getting to/from work which I put a lot of highway miles on each day. The mpg I am seeing right now ranges from 36-38mpg. It is all stock as far as the engine/transmission/air is concerned, only thing major replaced were Axles and Front LCAs. I got the car with 133k miles on it and right now has about 172k.
