brake noise.
i just finished doing my lower ball joints. i bent the dust shield back so i can press them in. now on my front left wheel its making a scraping noise but its not really constant its like a revolution kinda thing. and even faster when i brake or turn right. is it just my dust sheild and i needa bend it back alot more?
They're really thin and cheesy. If the outer edge isn't rubbing, then the inner "coned" part will sometimes contact the inside portion of rotor. Sometimes it takes a few bends to get it just right.
I use a long flathead screwdriver through the wheel, pressing firmly along about 3 points onoutside edge of it. How loose are your wheel bearings?
