Front Left Wheel Noise - Vibration Weird
Ok, I just had a new tire mounted on the wheel and the wheel was balanced last week. I went for a drive yesterday and noticed my wheel was shaking a little. Here are the weird things.
1. When I accelerate the noise and vibration smooths out and gets quieter.
2. When I press on the brake it lightly it makes noise and when I press firmer it goes away.
3. When im driving and start to roll, it makes more noise.
I'm taking off the wheel tonight to take a look at it, Its not howling so I don't think its the bearing. Sounds more like a cat purring or a flat tire sound. I am thinking I cracked a brake pad and possibly warped the rotor.
Has this happened to anyone else?

This could be many things. If you noticed this when you changed the tyre, it seems logical that its a wheel or tyre. Check this first- your tyre or your rims could be bent. If not, check your calipers to see if they are slack.

Yeah, well they looked ok to me before and I drove the car a bit last week and it was fine, After reading some other stuff on HT, I think it could be an axle going too. It makes noise when I turn slowly too.

Take a look at your cv joints. Check your boot leg rubber. After you take the wheel off, pull on the hub and check for any play. Look under the car at the entire front end. You should detect any problems.
